EnduraPost AA-TUFFwood
Yes EnduraPost now have a range of strainer options and more.
AA-TUFFwood is home grown in South East Queensland from 80 year old Australian Araucaria plantations and is incredibly tough and durable.
Our timber is ethically sourced from sustainably managed & certified plantations, and the mill’s close proximity to our timber source contributes to reducing the industry’s carbon footprint by reducing ‘log miles’.
Our ‘Zero Waste Policy’ means that we ensure all of our by-products are managed in environmentally sustainable ways, and on-sold as renewable products.
Even though Araucaria is considered a soft wood, names can be deceiving as this is a soft wood only by name. It boasts a tight, fine uniform cell structure with minimal knots combined with 80 years of growing strength. Due to the age of the wood creating timber that is up to two meters in diameter, the strainers and posts are cut from age-hardened section that do not include the sap wood, unlike most other timber strainers on the market.
Combining the structural strength with a H5 treatment ensures that EnduraPost AA-TUFFwood will not be susceptible to termites or rot for generations. They are reliable, light yet strong, durable and sustainably made here in Australia for the long run.

You might not realize that for every tree harvested, four more are planted, increasing the overall forest size for the benefit of generations to come. Being responsible doesn’t have to be difficult.
If you want to make something last then make it sustainable.
