Driving in EnduraPost Square Pickets
EnduraPost Square Pickets can be driven using most driving methods such as, manual (arm-strong sweat-well ;-), motorized, pneumatic and hydraulic drivers.
As the pickets are made using very tough PP plastic which has tight polymers, the pickets can be susceptible to breaking under excessive sudden impacts. For this reason, we do not recommend using heavy duty tractor operated free-dropping hammers. For this same reason, we also do not recommend trying to straighten a picket when it is in the ground using a sledgehammer. The picket will straighten and form to the strain of the fence anyway.
As EnduraPost Square pickets are flexible and square-shaped, you should expect they will be harder to drive into some ground conditions compared with steel, even with a driving point. For difficult ground such as rocky or heavy clay, we recommend a pre-drilled pilot hole.
